Meet the Team
Hannah Hazel
Founder, LCSW
At Ember & Oak and in collaboration with Kindred, my work centers on supporting individuals and couples through the tender and often complex seasons of infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and sex and intimacy.
I draw from Parts Work, DBT, and experiential therapy, weaving these approaches together with humor, intuition, and a deep trust in your innate wisdom. Together, we tend to the parts of you that may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or burdened—meeting them with curiosity and care rather than judgment. I offer practical tools for emotional regulation and nervous system support, helping you find steadiness and safety through moments of fight, flight, or overwhelm.
I show up as curious, playful, and authentic, and I love to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. It is an honor to witness and walk alongside your story by acknowledging your experiences, celebrating your resilience, and holding space for both the challenges and the growth that unfold along the way.

For couples and families, I use similar techniques as individual sessions yet we work together from the lenses of the “family unit” or the “relationship”. Parts work lends itself so beautifully for couples to express their needs, desires, and experiences through the scope of individual parts. As we are all complex and multi dimensional people, when working with couples I honor all aspects that can be brought to a relationship. We work together as a team and hold space for finding what brings the relationship, safety, trust, and peace.

Hannah’s Story
As a mom of one with another on the way, I’m living in the beautiful, ever-evolving rhythm of motherhood—chasing a toddler, nurturing connection, and embracing the magic in the everyday. My life and work are rooted in supporting humans through some of their most transformative seasons. As a birth and postpartum doula, yoga teacher, and photographer, I’m passionate about holding space, telling authentic stories, and helping others feel seen, supported, and deeply connected.
Human connection is at the heart of everything I do. Whether I’m guiding a mother through her birth journey, capturing fleeting, meaningful moments, or sharing laughter within the mom community, I’m drawn to presence, warmth, and realness. This season of life is full, playful, and beautifully chaotic—and I find so much joy in lightness, laughter, and the connections that make it all meaningful.
